Canvas Reinforcement Sewing

Authentic Gameday Flag Reinforcement Sewing is a typical detail that can be applied to any flag. It was developed with the sole purpose of reinforcing the luxurious Authentic Gameday Flags to sustain higher winds and last considerably longer.

We can truly do anything you can imagine, some options add cost, some take it away, our shop rates are reasonable and craftsmanship is exceptional, so there isn’t much risk in the investment. 

We start out by cutting off the stock header close to the grommets. Our expert seamstress cuts an extra wide header with round corners from a black outdoor canvas material. It can be color coordinated canvas material with an embroidered logo and add many other personalization options - see Flag Personalization.

The tail ends are reinforced with matching gussets that mirror the rounded corners of the header, featuring a bar tacked button hole for hanging or adding a flag tail.

The gussets and reinforced header are attached with matching color thread and double stitched.

After attachment, the entire perimeter is sail stitched adding an industrial silver zig zag embellishment that further strengthens the flag.

Our flag reinforcements have been tested with winds over 60MPH sustaining hours long road-trips without showing any signs of wear. Without reinforcements, gusts over 30MPH rapidly degrade Stock Gameday Flags.

Understand that using the flag on a vehicle or sustaining high winds and inclement weather will rapidly deteriorate any fabric material product, and care should be taken to protect it from damage.
